I boarded my 2 dogs there for 4 days. For a mere $240, my dogs came back completely flea infested, despite JUST having their Frontline dose literally the day before. Even worse, they came back with kennel cough!!! They both just had they vaccinations a month and a half ago!!!

The staff was rude and unfriendly. The building is anything but "luxury," and it's in the middle of the ghetto. Their 'large outdoor space" is a 10x15 area with pebbles.

They accused my dogs of destroying a garbage can among other things. My question is, how in the world does a dog have time to destroy a garbage can while being "supervised"?

For the health and safety of your pet, whatever you do, do NOT board your dog here!!!!!

I recently adopted my Yorkie Poo, Mollie, from the Atlanta Pet Shelter. Though she was adorable from day 1, she was a little scraggly and needed a good grooming. A friend of mine recommend Barking Hound Village Lofts and, I must admit, I wasn't sure what to expect. When I dropped Mollie off, she was a nervous wreck! But, before I even left, she was starting to calm down, mostly due to the gentle voice of her groomer, Jillian. So, I felt good leaving her, and just a few short hours later, I got the call that Mollie was ready to be picked up. And let me tell you - they did a BEAUTIFUL job! Mollie is like a brand new pup! She came out all smiles, perfectly happy and oh-so-soft. The folks who work there are just amazing. They are true animal lovers and they treated Mollie exactly as I would have - with gentle, warm affection. The groomer is a genius too. Mollie smells amazing now and she honestly looks like a million bucks! Such a huge difference...and at a great price. I would highly recommend Barking Hound Village Lofts for grooming and I will certainly be trying their doggy daycare service the next time I go out of town. I feel confident knowing that the people there are professionals who treat animals with the love and respect they deserve. After all, they're like family to us. It's nice to work with people who get that.
