Perimeter Mall is awash in a sea of Jewelry Stores, from deluxe Department Stores-to small owner operated boutiques. But looking for a Mother's Day gift, for a mom who claims she has it all, is no easy task. Heading to Bloomingdale's, right next door is Giordano & Co. I thought I knew every Estate Jewelry Store in the city, but was I in for a suprise. Giordano, has some of the most unsual pieces, I've seen in years. I was taken back by a necklace, of spun 18k w/Diamonds in a pendant, that was absolutly stunning. Another item, was a bangle in 18k, with a lapis medallion in the center, with three latin letters, set with gleaming diamonds. Of course, I had to get the 411, with the help of the wonderful, Mr. Bob Whitier. And Bob knows the history, of the pieces. This braclet is from the 18th. century, and the translation is "Forever & Always". I did not make a purchase this day yet, but I will be back soon. I highly recommend Giordano's for quality Estate Jewelry.
