This was the worst food I ever ate from a Japanese restaurant. I got sick and I am still throwing up from last night's food. It had no taste, the service is awful and I will never ever recommend this to anyone.

My girlfriends and I have hibachi dinner at Happy Sumo at least once a month. The food is great, service is sufficient, and the atmosphere is wonderful for hanging out.

We enjoy Happy Sumo and go often. Atmosphere is good, fun hibachi chiefs. Food is plenty and good and sushi is good. They do the fun birthday song and give the birthday person nice chop sticks.
I recommend it.

The food at this place is just not satisfactory. We left feeling very unhappy.

- Sushi rolls all tasted the same...mushy w/ stuff in between.
- Chef didn't have any skills
- Miso soup was water w/ a few sliced mushrooms (it's hard to mess miso up)
- Hibachi was average at best...could have made it better at home

We live right down the road and wouldn't come back to this place.

Great food. Service was just average. Waitress paid us little attention, but food made up for it. We ordered sushi at the bar. Don't know about the hibachi.
